Just about everyone who loves birds will have a favorite bird or a memorable bird experience. Being able to create that for people is what this section is all about. I love to talk to people about creating their favorite birding moment in wood. The example of the miniature Barn Owl above shows how I like to proceed. After discussing what you want and establishing which type of carving would be wanted, I then make a pencil drawing to show you what your carving could look like. This becomes something of a final blueprint for me to use in the final carving and also in the quoting process. When the pencil concept is approved a 50% deposit is required with the balance due upon completion. Some of my clients like to see progress photos and I can provide those thru e-mail.
